Corey Lee McDuffie, 35 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he broke into a home on Maple Road, stole an air-conditioner and then later tried to pawn it at the Maple Street Pawn Shop.
Police added that McDuffie was also spotted by the neighbor of the victim trying to steal the air conditioner.
McDuffie is charged with first degree burglary and theft by taking.
