Alex Michael Monroe, 33 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he imprisoned a woman at a home on Wayside Road.
Police said that while imprisoning the woman, Monroe slammed a door on the victim’s hand. He is also accused of breaking a window to the home.
Monroe is charged with battery, false imprisonment and criminal trespass.
