Derek Jason Woodring, 32 of Silver Creek, was arrested this week after reports said he beat another man in the face at a business on Huffaker Road.
Reports said that the man suffered visible injuries to their head, face and mouth.
The incident occurred in front of several small children.
Woodring is charged with battery and 3rd degree cruelty to children.
