Jody Wyatte Bennett, 50 of Rome, was arrested this week after police said they found him in possession of marijuana while allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol.
Police said that Bennett was taken into custody after refusing a field sobriety test.
While taking him into custody, officers located less than an ounce of marijuana
Bennett is charged with DUI and possession of marijuana.
