Zachariah John Schlitz, 34 of Rome, was arrested this week after police said he used a cell phone to attempt to purchase methamphetamine.
Police added that Schlitz then traveled to a location that was arranged to purchase the drugs.
Schlitz is charged with attempting to violate the Georgia controlled substance act and use of a communication facility in the commission of a felony involving a controlled substance.
