Marquez Jovan Ware, 35 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he kicked in the front door to a home on Branham Avenue and then attacked a 30 year-old woman.
Reports said that Ware repeatedly hit the victim, causing visible injuries to their face, arms and stomach.
Ware is charged with robbery, simple assault, battery and first degree burglary.
