A 64 year-old Rome man, Norwood Smith Burnes, was arrested this week in Rome after he allegedly took a woman’s cellphone from her hands without consent.
The victim and Burnes both share the same Radio Springs Road address.
Reports added that when officers arrived at the home, Burnes barricaded himself inside and refused to comply with law enforcement.
Burnes is charged with sudden snatching robbery, simple assault, obstruction and failure to appear.
