Rome Woman Jailed After Not Scanning Items at North Broad Store

Tonya Leann Barnes, 46 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said she skipped scanned items while working at a store on North Broad Street.

Reports said that Barnes failed to scan $563.30 worth of merchandise.

Barnes is charged with theft by taking.
