Paden Young Vaughn, 28 of Cartersville, was arrested this week in Rome after police said he was found prowling around a home of an elderly woman on Wayside Road.
Police said that after being called to the scene, Vaughn proceeded to lie about her name and date of birth.
Vaughn is charged with prowling and giving false information to police.
