Nathaniel Lombardo, 39 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he attacked a 27 year-old man at a home on West Callahan Street.
Police said that Lombardo repeatedly punched the victim in the head, which resulted in visible bruising and swelling.
Lombardo is charged with battery.
