Rodney Wilson, 56 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he forged a check in the amount of $953.99 to the Village Shop Convenience Store on New Calhoun Highway.
Reports said that Wilson wrote the check on an account at United Community Bank that was from Liberty Tire and Recycling in Calhoun. Investigators later found that the business did not have an account at said bank.
The incident occurred back on September 23rd of this year.
Wilson is charged with 4th degree forgery.
