Phillip Winston Moore, 33 of Loganville, was arrested in Rome after reports said he threatened a police officer before head-butting him while being treated at Floyd Medical Center.
Police said that Moore was involved in a wreck after a vehicle pulled out in front of him. When officers arrived at the scene, even though Moore was not at “fault” in the accident he was found to have been driving while intoxicated.
While on the way to the hospital, Moore told police that he was going to “fu**** kill” him.
After arriving at the hospital, Moore is then accused of head-butting a police officer.
Moore is charged with battery, felony obstruction, terroristic threats and acts and DUI.
