Gene Wesley Patterson, 51 of Sugar Valley, was arrested in Rome this week after he was found driving on a suspended license.
Authorities went on to say that after arriving at the jail Patterson was found in possession of methamphetamine.
Patterson is charged with possession of meth, driving on a suspended license and crossing the guard line with drugs.
