Rockmart police issued a statement saying that Just after 2:00 PM on Sunday May 29, 2022 a white female with short brown hair, wearing white shorts and a blue top, happened upon a pocket knife in the parking lot of the JEFFERSON’S here in Rockmart. The female entered JEFFERSONS and left soon thereafter.
The owner of the knife is asking that his property to be returned either to JEFFERSONS (Mrs. Bailey- manager) or the lobby of the ROCKMART POLICE DEPARTMENT. If the property is returned, the owner will not be pressing any criminal charges for Theft of Mislaid Property.
