Nevin Mantz II, 65 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he broke a window to another’s home and car, as well as headlights to their vehicle.
Reports added that he then proceeded to use a small hammer in an attempt to enter a closed business.
Officers stated that when they approached Mantz, he refused to comply with commands in order to avoid apprehension.
Mantz is charged with battery, 2nd degree criminal damage to property, criminal attempt to commit a felony and felony obstruction
