Ramon Garcia, 43 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he was found driving a vehicle with a stolen tag.
Police added that when they stopped Garcia they discovered that he was driving on a suspended license.
Garcia is charged with theft by receiving stolen property and driving on a suspended license.
