William Jesse Akins Jr, 41 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he stole methamphetamine to a police informant.
Police said that the drug deal occurred back on April 28, 2020.
Akins is charged with possession of meth, sale of meth, possession of meth with intent to distribute and contempt of court.
