Sharona Colleen Taylor, 37 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said she injured a man and a child during a physical altercation on Calhoun Road.
Reports stated that Taylor hit the man in the head, leaving an open wound.
Taylor is then accused of digging her fingernails into the finger of a child, leaving a visible bleeding wound.
Taylor is charged with two counts battery and cruelty to children in the first degree.
