A Rome man, Emmanuel Kurt Brooks, 41, with a history of beating women is back in jail for the same crime.
Reports said that Brooks hit the mother of his children in the face with a closed fist.
The woman suffered a busted nose in the attack, which occurred back on August 25, 2021 at a home on Tamassee Lane.
This incident occurred in front of a 7 year-old child.
Brooks is charged with battery and cruelty to children in the third degree.
