Alan De’Won Lyles, 36 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he was found in possession of multiple hard drugs while being pulled over for talking on his cellphone.
Police said that a traffic stop on Dean Avenue led police to find marijuana, crack cocaine, ecstasy, methamphetamine, an opened bottle of cognac, a digital scale, and sandwich bags.
Lyles is charged with possession of meth, possession of cocaine, three counts of possession of a schedule I controlled substance, possession/distribution of marijuana, possession of drug-related objects, open container and distracted hands-free violation.
