John Eric Murphy, 35 of Calhoun, was arrested in Rome after reports said he was found in possession of methamphetamine and a glass pipe.
Officers went on to say that Murphy also lied to him about his name and birthday.
Murphy is charged with possession of meth, possession of drug-related objects, giving false information to police, driving without insurance, and driving on a suspended license.
