Mariah Shelby Jones, 29 of Burnett, Texas, was arrested in Rome after leading police on a chase in a stolen vehicle.
Officers said that when they attempted to pull Jones over she fled in a high rate of speed down 27 south.
After a brief pursuit Jones stopped. She then proceeded to yell “you aren’t real” before fleeing again. A second chase ensued before Jones finally stopped again on Turner McCall Blvd.
Jones is charged with theft by taking a motor vehicle, attempting to elude police, reckless driving, driving without license and a seat belt violation.
