Cory Cantell Penn, 40 of Rome, was arrested this week after a traffic stop on GA 20 near Turner Bend Road led officers to find suspected cocaine.
Reports said that Penn was pulled over for a routine traffic stop when they discovered that he had been driving with an opened container of alcohol. It was then determined that he was also driving on a revoked license and without insurance.
A search then led police to recover suspected cocaine.
Penn is charged with possession of cocaine, open container, driving without insurance and driving on a suspended license.
