Marty Benton Dean, 45 of Homer, South Carolina, was jailed in Rome after a traffic stop for a window tint violation led police to find an assortment of drugs.
Reports said that after stopping Dean on East 18th Street for a window tint greater than 3% a probable cause search was conducted. It was during this officers located methamphetamine, marijuana , two glass smoking devices and two firearms.
Dean is charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession/distribution of marijuana, possession of drug related objects, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, driving without license and a window tint violation.
