Kyle Ted Brown, 30 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he grabbed a woman from behind and threw her down on the bed.
The victim stated that three children witnessed the attack.
The incident occurred at a home on Meadow Lake Circle.
Brown is charged with simple battery, and third-degree cruelty to children.
