Demeishia Mecole Morgan, 26 of Rome, was jailed this week after reports said she stalked and threatened another woman with a bamboo stick.
Police stated that Morgan, after having a TPO placed against her, repeatedly drove by the victim’s Wilson Avenue home. Police added that Morgan eventually stopped in the victim’s driveway, got out, retrieved a bamboo stick and proceeded to walk toward her in a threatening manner.
Reports went on to say that a bystander took the bamboo sticks from Morgan in an effort to prevent an attack.
Morgan is charged with terroristic threats and acts and aggravated stalking.
