An inmate at the Floyd County Prison, Corren Devar Collier, 36 of Locus Grove, is facing additional charges after he allegedly attempted to smuggle nearly 43 grams of marijuana into the facility.
Police stated that Collier, Nathaniel Tevine Dawson and Tyrell Dehhawn Spencer Sr, attempted to obtain the drugs that was placed at Fielder Recreation Center. The drugs were packaged into three individual balls “in a way they could be smuggles into the prison”. Police added that the balls were placed into a trash can so that Collier could find it.
Collier is charged with items prohibited by an inmate, possession/distribution of marijuana, conspiracy to violate Georgia controlled substance act.
