Everett Phil Reese, 18 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he allegedly pointed a gun at a victim’s dog while she was five feet away.
Reports stated that the victim was in fear of her life because she knew if the suspect missed her dog she could have been shot.
When officers arrived to the scene Reese allegedly attempted to flee from capture. After a brief Chase Reese was taken into custody and found in possession of the firearm, marijuana, and multiple small plastic baggies.
Reese is charged with simple assault, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, possession or distribution of drugs, and attempting to elude a police officer.
