Jeffrey Kurt Jenkins, 27 of Rome, was arrested this week at North Rome Church of God after police said they found him in possession of drugs.
Reports stated that Jenkins was spotted walking down the sidewalk across from the church with the drugs. Officers added that Jenkins attempted to throw the bag of synthetic marijuana on the sidewalk and flee on foot.
Jenkins was eventually captured behind the church.
Jenkins is charged with possession of synthetic marijuana, obstruction, and probation violation.
