Antonio Jerrell Monford Sr, 53 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he ran from police during a traffic stop for driving while on a cellphone.
Reports stated that when Monford was pulled over he exited the vehicle and fled on foot. .
Investigators stated that they located an opened cold Bud Light inside the vehicle.
Monford is charged with distracted handsfree violation, open container and obstruction.
