Greggory Quantia Garrett, 38 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he repeatedly struck his child in the face.
Reports stated that the victim suffered injuries to their face and neck area.
The incident occurred back on March 9 that their home on Auburn Lane.
Garrett is charged with battery.
