A homeless 37 year-old Rome man, Christopher Aaron Godfrey, was arrested on Stoner Avenue af23ter he allegedly seriously injured a woman when he beat her in the face.
Reports said that during an argument Godfrey hit the woman in the face with his fist with such an impact it caused here to suffer a broken nose and an orbital fracture.
Reports added that the victim had to undergo reconstructive surgery.
The incident occurred back on January 23 of this year at a location on North Broad Street.
Godfrey is charged with aggravated battery and probation violation.
