Barry Ian Howle, 37 of Rome, was jailed this week after he was accused of stealing a pair of boots and blue jeans from the locker room of The Rock Fitness Center on Martha Berry Blvd.
Reports listed the value of the boots at $195 and the jeans at $45.
The theft occurred back on January 2 of this year.
Howle is charged with theft by taking.
