James Raymond Jackson, 64 of Rome, was arrested this week after allegedly placing items that he did not pay for in his pants and attempted to walk out of the Dollar General in Central Plaza.
Reports stated that after arriving at the jail he was found in possession of marijuana.
Jackson is charged with theft by shoplifting, possession of marijuana and crossing the guard line with drugs.
