Just days after the resignation of Jeff Wilson as Superintendent of Floyd County Schools questions are still being asked, however, not many answers are coming.

Despite no clear answer, several things were revealed on Wednesday, including a severance agreement between the school system and Wilson.

Several items of that agreement included a promise by both parties not to speak negatively about each other, health insurance until October and he will receive his annual salary of $200,000 for a period of 12 months

According to Floyd County School Board Chair Tony Daniel, “Mr. Wilson did a great job during his time with Floyd County Schools, however we had a discussion and felt that it was time to go in a different direction.”  Daniel added, “We appreciate everything he did for the school system.”
