Two Cedartown residents, Steven Chance Brown, 28, and Angela Dawn Smith, 48, were arrested in Rome after they were found in possession of methamphetamine while being stopped for speeding on GA Loop 1.
Reports said that Brown was pulled over for diving 72 mph in a 55. A search of the vehicle led officers to find a glass smoking device containing meth residue. A small bag of the drug was also located in the driver side door panel.
Both are charged with possession of meth and possession of drug related objects.
Brown is additionally charged with speeding.
Smith is also charged with failure to appear.
