Zachary John Owens, 24 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he held a woman down by her neck, which prevented her from breathing. Reports added that the victim was left with hand marks on her arm and bite marks on her shoulders and upper back,
Owens is also charged with breaking the victim’s television.
Owens is charged with aggravated assault, simple criminal trespass on public hunting or fishing area.
