A 63 year-old homeless Rome man, Joel William Goldin Jr, was arrested while allegedly attempting to burglarize the River Dog Outpost on Broad Street.
Reports said that Goldin was taken into custody just before 9 am Tuesday.
The total amount of items being taken was valued at over $100.
Goldin is charged with second degree burglary and theft by taking.
