David Gene Ray, 37 of Rome, turned himself in this week after he allegedly attacked his brother at a home on Johns Bend Road.
Reports said that Ray grabbed the man by the neck before they both flipped over a porch railing.
The victim suffered an injury to his neck, face and left knee.
Ray is charged with battery.
