Christopher James Bowers, 17 of Gasden, was jailed in Rome after police said they found him in possession of a bag of synthetic marijuana and a stolen firearm in his shorts.
Reports stated that he was taken into custody at a location on Rockmart Road.
Bowers is charged with theft by taking, possession of synthetic marijuana and probation violation.
