John A Flemister, 41 of Cave Spring, was arrested at his home on Mill Road after reports said he physically attacked a woman.
Reports said that Flemister grabbed the woman and dragged her off of the couch and knocked her to the floor.
The victim suffered bruising to her right arm and ankle from the attack.
Flemister is charged with battery.
