Andrew Quinton Self, 39 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he hit his live-in girlfriend and a 15 year-old child in the face with a closed fist.
Reports added that the incident occurred in front of three small children.
Self is charged with battery, three counts cruelty to children in the third degree and one count of first degree cruelty to children.
