Truitt Clifford Alford IV, 24 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he stole a wheelchair from a location on Maple Street.
Reports added that Alford proceeded to steal an air conditioner from a home on Hosea Street.
Alford is charged with first degree burglary, theft by taking, exploitation and intimidation of disbaled and probation violation.
