Christopher Wayne Russell, 33 of Aragon, was arrested this week after reports said he became combative with police officers during a traffic stop at the intersection of Ga 1 and Turner Chapel Road.
Officers said that Russell shoved him while being taken into custody for driving on a suspended license, leading to a felony charge.
Russell is charged with battery, felony obstruction and driving on a suspended license.
