Anthony Chad Whitaker, 34 of Austell, was arrested in Rome this week after reports said he beat a 25 year-old woman in the head with a noodle strainer.
Reports said that the victim suffered redness and bruising to her eye.
The incident occurred at a home on Woodbine Avenue.
Whitaker is charged with battery.
