Ricky Lee Venable, 65 of Rome, was arrested after he allegedly unlawfully entered a home on Martha Berry Blvd while armed with a knife.
Reports added that he then proceeded to tell the resident, a 37 year-old woman, that he was going to kill her.
Venable is charged with first degree burglary, aggravated assault and terroristic threats and acts.
