Timothy David Wilkie, 29 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he grabbed his girlfriend in a bear hug and proceeded to drag her across a yard.
Reports said that the incident occurred at a home on Cave Spring Road
Wilkie is charged with simple battery and parole violation.
