Bartow County deputies arrested Armando David Leon-Sagastume of Cartersville and booked him into the jail on Friday afternoon for multiple warrants from February 1st.
He received one count of statutory rape. Since the victim was at least 14 but less than 16 years of age and Leon-Sagastume is 18 years of age or younger and is no more than four years older than the victim, it is a misdemeanor charge.
He received three counts of aggravated child molestation. Since the victim was at least 13 but less than 16 years of age, Leon-Sagastume is 18 years of age or younger and is no more than four years older than the victim, and the basis of the charges involves an act of sodomy, they are misdemeanor charges.
He received one charge for enticing a child for indecent purposes. Since the victim was at least 14 but less than 16 years of age and Leon-Sagastume is 18 years of age or younger and is no more than four years older than the victim, it is a misdemeanor charge.
He received three charges for violation of the Computer or Electronic Pornography and Child Exploitation Prevention Act. There are varying degrees for this offense, but Leon-Sagastume is being charged with felonies for the three charges.
Leon-Sagastume was also booked into the jail on June 18th 2018 on a felony statutory rape warrant from April 8th 2018.
