Desmond Darell Jett, 40 of Rome, and Davadrion Lavail Davenport, 35 of Lafayette, were arrested at a home on North Broad Street in Rome after a fight led the men to grab weapons.
Reports said that Jett grabbed a box cutter and and cut another on the face. Davenport grabbed a liquor bottle and then smashed it over the head of the victim. The victim suffered several cuts as a result.
A small child allegedly witnessed the attack.
Davenport is charged with aggravated assault and cruelty to children.
