William Christopher Capes, 33 of Silver Creek, was arrested this week after reports said he attacked a 58 year-old man in his bedroom.
Reports said that Capes pushed the victim, who just had back surgery, down on the floor.
Reports added that the victim had to have assistance getting up.
Capes is charged with battery.
